What should I bring?
- Make sure you have a laptop and charger if you want to get the most out of the experience. No specific software is required so you may use your favorite operating system.
- Computer labs in Huck Life Science have been reserved for your use during this event (004, 006, 007, and 008 Huck).
- Drinks and snacks will be provided but you may want to bring your own if you have dietary restrictions. Bringing a refillable travel mug or water bottle will help us be eco-conscious.
- Portable storage devices may be useful for passing large files between team members.
What should the format be for my presentation?
- We recommend creating a set of slides in PowerPoint or Google Slides and recording a narration of the presentation.
- In order to upload your presentation to the web, we require that your recordings are in .avi, .mp4 (preferred), or .mov. PowerPoint presentations (.pptx|.ppsx) will not be accepted.
- Presentations must be no longer than 3 minutes.
- Voiceover must be present in your video.
